Brian S. Coutts

Brian S. Coutts has spent more than 28 years at Nuttall Brown & Coutts doing work that most attorneys shy away from: sitting across from insurance companies on behalf of people who've just had the worst days of their lives. Over that time, he has successfully resolved hundreds of personal injury cases — motor vehicle and trucking accidents, dog bites, premises liability, wrongful death — and has handled injuries ranging from fractures and disk herniation to brain injury and paralysis.

What distinguishes Brian's practice is his approach to the client relationship. In an industry that has trended toward high-volume, paralegal-driven operations, Brian handles every case personally: from first consultation through resolution. His clients aren't files passed down a chain; they're people he knows by name, injury, and circumstance.

Brian graduated cum laude from BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he served as senior editor of the Law Review. He speaks both English and Spanish fluently, allowing him to serve Spanish-speaking clients directly, without an interpreter between them and their attorney. Outside the office, Brian is a husband and father of four, and spends his free time in athletics, camping, and fishing. He is active in his church and community, and serves as Vice President of L.E.A.P. (Lawyers' Endowment for Accident Prevention).
